Recipe - Broiled Salmon

For all of you healthy eaters out there let me recommend a dish I really love. You will need 3 tablespoons of reduced fat sour cream, 1 tablespoon of fresh dill and 1 tablespoon of mustard (preferably dijon mustard). You will also need 3 cloves of fresh garlic, chopped, juice from half a lemon and around a quarter tablespoon of red pepper. Salt and black pepper is to be added according to particular tastes. The most important ingredient is left last of course: 2 to 4 7-ounces of Atlantic salmon steaks.

Now let's get to cooking! You need to preheat the broiler and then place all the ingredients except the salmon in a small bowl. Mix it well and then wash the salmon steaks and pat them dry. You can use paper towels. Now you brush the sides and top of the salmon with the mix you got earlier and put it under the broiler. Be sure to place it around 3 inches from the heat source. Broiling should be done until the top is cooked according to your personal tastes but should not take very long. After the top is how you like it, close the oven door and turn off the broiler. Leave it cooking for around 6 to 8 minutes. You can garnish it with dill and lemon. Bon appettite or however it is spelled.
