We all know the fact that Protein is the building rock of our muscles and it is also required for the proper functioning of our entire body. For any bodybuilder out there, the best foods are the ones that are high in protein. For those that are still not aware of this, very good sources of protein from foods are lean red meat, turkey breast, skinless chicken breast, white fish, salmon and tuna. You should be aware of the importance of nutrition in bodybuilding, fitness and any other sport you want to practice. As a good example, keep in mind that 150 g of salmon fillet contains around 40 grams of protein. One simple can of tuna will also have around 30 to 35 grams of protein. Foods that are high in protein usually come with around 30 to 40 grams of protein in one serving of 150 grams.
I am sure that you do know that eggs are great when talking about protein intake but they are not that recommended in bodybuilding nutrition. 1 egg comes with around 6.5 grams of protein so this means you will need many eggs in order to reach the necessary protein intake. Most bodybuilders will turn towards egg whites and yolks are limited to a maximum of just 2 daily. The reason behind this approach is that egg white contains around 3.5 grams of protein while yolk comes with around 2.6 grams of protein.
